Here are a few bogs which have caught my eye – well presented, educational, relevant to us in G5, interesting ideas for posts, fun etc

http://epencil.edublogs.org/ - check out the classrooms for the future ideas – can you think of any?

http://www.class4d.edublogs.org - the story starters are very interesting…

http://room202.edublogs.org - who is Sam…?!

http://wyatt67.edublogs.org/ - how many visitors!!??

http://jmundorf.edublogs.org/ - the ‘you decide’ posts are a good idea…!

http://huzzah.edublogs.org/ - have a look at their ‘wordle;’ what does this tell you about their class?

http://mrlund.edublogs.org/ - Maths challenges are a great way to keep Sung Jun & Michael busy. Unless any of the rest of you are up for the challenge…!?

Have you found any appropriate & educational blogs that you would like to share? Make sure you say what you like about them!

  1. Dear gwagrade5

Thank you so much for visiting our class blog and leaving us some comments. We love checking out the comments every morning and seeing where our visitors have come from. We are adding you to our blogroll.
Sam is our class mascot. He is a kiwi bird – a flightless native bird to New Zealand. He came to Bangkok with me – Ms H. (also a Kiwi) Every weekend (and sometimes during the week) a student will take him on an adventure. He is getting around Thailand a lot now. Don’t forget to check back on our blog sometime and see what else he’s been up to.

PS: I love your wonderwall page – do you mind if we copy?

Main reason for such large numbers is that I have been running a world wide student blogging competition for the last 10 weeks. In that time, over 6000 visitors came to the class blog as all the instructions and activities were found there for the weekly challenges. Thanks for putting us on your list of blogs to visit. Feel free to use any ideas you find on the class blog.

Thank you for including us on your blog list! My class has enjoyed seeing your students trying our math problems! We’d welcome more visits from the rest of your students! Maybe we could post a similiar question to both of our blogs and watch enjoy each others point of view.

    Dain and Mina,

Thanks for dropping by MadWords Now! We love when kids from anywhere visit and leave a comment or five.

I really like your blog–it is great to see the kids have a part in the process!

I sit here at my desk while my first hour kids watch the movie version of The Westing Game. We are all secretly hoping for a snow day tomorrow, December 19. We are supposed to be getting 7-12 inches tonight!

    Take care,
    Mr. Madden

    Happy Birthday, Mallory !
    nice, funny, cool
Mallory’s birthday is coming soon. But instead of a Birthday, it’s going to be a birth MONTH!!! Mallory expected her party to be pefect, although it didn’t. Her parents said no to everything she wanted for her Birthmonth , exept about Mary-Ann coming and to have a suprise party. But 1 more thing she wanted….her ears pierced. In the end…..SUPRISE!!!!! Mallory’s suprise party came to be a success, and got her ears pierced.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY/BIRTHMONTH, MALLORY !!!!

I like visiting other peoples blogs. Some of the blogs I visit are brilliant and I hope some day our blog will be like one of them.

I liked it when everyone from both classes went on the blog atleast once a week and posted a comment. I hope we can get that happening again!!!!!!!!!!!!
